In these workshops we will show you how to achieve that primped, preened and ready for a Mr Cecil B DeMille Close-up in no time! If you have ever dreamed of having that classic, vintage look but never knew how? Do you long for a bit of 1940s glamour, 50’s cheesecake or retro style? Miss Chrissy and her Team can help you.
In our Introductory workshop it is all hands on and in 3 hours we go through Vintage Hairstyling, Makeup from the 20′s to the 60′s and the importance of undergarments and all with a healthy dose of Charm…
In our Intermediate Vintage Hairstyling workshop you will be guided through 5 very popular Vintage Hairstyles and you will be made to achieve each of them in the class with our help. This is intensive and hands on and you will have had to complete the first course before attempting this one.
HENS PARTIES/GIRLS NIGHT IN PARTIES
Our Hens party package includes Vintage Hair & Makeup for your group in whatever vintage style you choose – 20’s-60’s. We shall tailor the day to suit your guests and work the room accordingly assisting you with your chosen theme. In addition to making “The Bride” over in front of her girlfriends/Mothers, we will also share tips and tricks along the way on how best to create your own vintage style….a mini personal workshop if you like.. We will also offer a vintage “Do” to each of your guests so by the end of the day you will all ready to hit the town in glamorous style. You will be entertainment with some good old fashioned bachelorette party games and some tongue in cheek motherly advice from the 50’s thrown in. Your guests will each receive a flower and workshop manual/memento of the day as well. We are also on hand to assist with posing techniques and taking of pictures to capture the moment for you all. We can offer advice in the planning stages as well as to choices of music, decor and the like to help create the ambience.
WEDDINGS:
For the wedding day, our styling expertise is also at your disposal, designed specifically for you & can be as involved as you choose. We offer advice to you from everything from the best style & cut of dress to accessories, hair & makeup…. Hair & make up styling would be planned in advance so the big day is just fun! If you wish us to help please let us know where you will be celebrating, & how many of your party you would like us to style etc and then we can quote separately on this for you. Depending on your location we can also offer assistance with Vintage Cars, Wedding Cakes, Marriage Celebrants, Vintage Nails, Photographer, Videographer and Entertainment etc etc.
EMCEE:
Known for her wit and charm and ease on the microphone, Miss Chrissy has hosted many different events from Fashion Parades, Heritage Days, to Melbourne Cup functions, Pin Up Competitions and general corporate functions. AFTERNOON TEA WITH A SIP OF MANNERS:
During an indulgent afternoon tea, ladies and gentlemen will be taken through the history of afternoon tea, the art of dining and afternoon tea etiquette, a lesson on posture, self confidence, handshakes etc, speech, sitting, manners, conversation starters, body language and a look at manners for the modern man and woman
SWING DANCE TEACHERS/PERFORMERS:
Want to add that spectacular visual element to your Big Band or Rock n Roll Night, why not hire include a swing Dance Demonstration or even a quick lesson for your quests to really get into the mood/theme of the night. Chrissy and Ray have been dancing and teaching for over 15 years and are known for their charming, humorous and easy teaching/performing manner. Ray is also one of the most popular Dj’s in Australia specialising in music from 1930′s through to the 1990′s. He know how to get the party started!.
